B&T and Ancora at Revestir: the best technology and services for the Brazilian market

The Italian SITI B&T Group based in Formigine (Italy) – with all of its divisions already fully present in Brazil through its subsidiary, Barbieri & Tarozzi do Brasil – will participate at the Revestir trade fair (stand 0485) in São Paulo from 1st to 4th March.

B&T Group, which acquired Ancora (a leader in ceramics finishing systems) in 2015, is the only plant manufacturer that is able to provide integrated and cutting edge technological solutions for the entire production process, from preparation to end of line, together with its NON-STOP after sales service that provides both technical support and technological upgrades.

SUPERA®, the innovative technology for large slabs is also a complete, modular and integrated line that can produce a wide range of sizes (3600×1200 for the 25,000 t, 3200×1600 for the 33,000 t and 4800×1600 for the 44,000 t version) and relative sub-sizes with thicknesses ranging from 5 to 25 mm. It has a production capacity of up to 11,000 m3/day.

The new generation of Titanium® kilns, with an inlet of 3850 mm, represent the absolute top in energy efficiency and reduce fuel consumption by over 30%, thereby guaranteeing maximum performance and minimum emissions. A major advantage is local production: SITI B&T provides thermal machines “Made in Brazil” that are manufactured to Italian design specifications and equipped with the large range of innovative SITI B&T Titanium e Vulcan burners.

Another example of excellence in the range is EVO 3.0, the new generation of presses equipped with sophisticated technologies that ensure higher quality pressing and fewer tile defects. They offer many advantages such as E-Synchro®, the de-moulding technology that eliminates loading errors and reduces maintenance costs and Genius box® (for the total control of tile quality). Also available are Fasty, the device that guarantees quick and easy mould changeover and Start & Stop, the hydraulic power unit that eliminates machine downtime and reduces energy consumption in all phases in which the press does not require hydraulic power, thereby improving performance and efficiency in terms of energy consumption (savings of up to 30%).

Other technological solutions include the complete range of EVO Hybrid digital decorating machines from Projecta Engineering together with the new G5 that uses Seiko and Xaar printheads; and with a printing width from 700 to 1900 mm, it is synonymous with total flexibility, speed and maximum resolution.

 Lastly, Ancora presents Dry Squaring Speed, an innovative dry squaring machine intended for all types of ceramics, including porcelain stoneware, with a level of productivity that has never previously been achieved, thereby saving energy and reducing costs, and the lapping machine XXL Polishing for large sabs.
