The largest producer in Latin America has renewed its trust in SITI B&T Group with the choice of high-efficiency technological innovations for its new production lines

After acquiring and relaunching the Porcelanite brand, in 2016 Lamosa also took over the San Lorenzo Group and boosted its production capacity through the acquisition of numerous factories in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru to become the leading player in the whole of Latin America.

SITI B&T Group, which has been operating in the Mexican market for more than 20 years with a large branch in Monterrey and prestigious ceramic sector clients, supplied Porcelanite-Lamosa with a complete line for ceramic tile production. One of the key technologies installed is Titanium^®, the world-leading kiln in terms of fossil fuel savings and reduced atmospheric emissions (-30%) which has been adopted by the top ceramic groups.

SITI B&T Group company Ancora has supplied squaring lines and score-and-snap systems for tile finishing and the production of submultiple sizes.

The line also features a latest-generation G5 digital decorating machine complete with G Scanner and two EVO H8 printers, the recent innovations from SITI B&T Group company Projecta Engineering. G5 delivers extraordinary levels of modularity and efficiency. By combining a number of materials in a single multi-module unit, it optimises the process and allows for the maximum expressive freedom.

However, the key items of equipment supplied to Lamosa are the EVO presses complete with patented E-Synchro^® and Fastytechnologies. E-Synchro^® is an innovative completely electromechanical demoulding system which eliminates the need for hydraulic systems to remove tiles from the mould, thereby facilitating routine maintenance and speeding up press operation, while Fasty is the system that allows for a rapid mould change in just 30 minutes.
